It's a lot lot lot to be proud of but it's still not where I want to be. After my surgery I gained 5 lbs (not bad considering) but then once I did go back to the gym I ended up gaining another 5 (I assume muscle)....and after some minor 5 lb swings in both directions, I am still 5ish lbs up.

I took a month break (mostly from the gym-but I also let myself enjoy the holidays) so I expect when I weigh in on the 2nd, it won't be pretty but I am also hoping it's motivation to get down to my ultimate goal weight, that magic number that I would feel content with.
So, here we go again. One year later I am again saying I want to loose 20 lbs (at least), fingers crossed I will have an awesome repeat. And yes, I intend to have a weekly check in and I'll share tips as I go.

I think you did wonderfully and hope you do just as well this coming year. I hope the magic number is as magic as you hope for it to be. Being one of those people who put on massive amount of wight in 2012 this shows me that it's possible to lose it and get healthy. Thank you so much.

Congrats on having lost so much weight!!! ;D And all the best of luck so you can accomplish your goal! I've suffered from eating disorders ever since I was a teenager and kind of relapsed when I moved to the USA. Fortunately I've been losing weight since June, but this time of the year is so hard! :/ Let's be strong and keep up with our work out routine and start eating healthily again! ;D
