With a title like that how would you not want to read this post?! I kid, but there was no way a happy title could sit atop the post accompanying the outfit photos for the stinker of a day I had. It was so bad I didn't even bother taking pictures with either of my cameras...just the cellular device.
Check out these forced and enraged smiles. Yes I adored this outfit and gosh darn-it I was going to take pictures but the hubs and I were having a marital meltdown (that lasted a whole 3 hours, so that give you an idea of what our meltdowns actually mean).
When I got this top from Superstition Vintage I was so saddened to realize that my gigantic arms yet again didn't quite want to squeeze into a gorg vintage top I found. After realizing that my arms indeed were significantly smaller last week I decided to give it another go and for 99% of the day I was good to go, just when I wanted to lift my arms or obviously, to flex my muscles, did I chance hulking out of my shirt.
I did find my zen place eventually, even if that was only after an hour long cry fest on the phone with my mommy, but it happened none the less...
Top: Superstition Vintage
Dress: Everly
Belt: Forever 21
Thanks for letting me vent-a-roo-ski for the second time in a week-thankfully a week after all this crap I can honestly say I feel like I am in a good place again and I hope to stay here for awhile-drama rama is soooooo not my thing!

So sorry to hear about the icky day. Those happen, but they are never fun. Glad that they eventually got better - mothers are great for helping cure bad days. I really love the soft pinks and florals of your outfit. It's a perfect ode to spring! I'm missing my lighter colors and fabrics right now, so this just brightened my morning a little! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! <3

I swear, without my mom, I'd go nuts! And I agree, I am so over the dark colors of winter, they just aren't me!!! Hope you had a spectacular weekend love!
DeleteOh honey I'm so sorry you had a bad day! But hey, you guys have been together for so long now, it's not a small meltdown that's gonna ruin it, right? =D
ReplyDeleteAnd I loved your outfit!!! =D Why do you have such good taste and pretty clothes? *jealous* =P
xoRose
Exactly, I think every relationship is going to hit speed bumps but I wouldn't have gotten married period if I had any doubt that we couldn't get past it! Thanks for your sweet words Rose-I think I just love clothes and you can tell the days I really dig my outfits-didn't someone say something along the lines of confidence is your best accessory at some point?!
DeleteI absolutely love this outfit-and love your honesty. Everyone has days where there partner drives them crazy. That's the beauty of loving someone-its for all the good and bad. You guys rock :)

hahahaha...I used to hate hearing neighbors fight! Thank goodness for not living in apartments/duplexes anymore! I will say, our fights are usually pretty few and far between and well, we're kinda weirdos...we don't really ever yell...it's usually a lot of talking or the exact opposite...nasty exchange made, go to our separate corners till we cool down and make up :)
DeleteWell, at least you looked super cute during your marital meltdown! Those kind of things make us appreciate each other all the more. At least that is what I tell myself...Good job on the smaller arms! We will continue doing Bodypump and soon really have rocking arms. See you tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteThat's all that matters right?! I figure life can always have an upside with a cute outfit?! It's so true, you can go a few hours without talking to each other and then you realize that no matter how much you fight you just want to be with them at the end of the day! And yes, we are going to be ripped by the end of spring! I'll be in BP for sure (might even do Zumba before that-Angela said she's coming to class)!!!
