New Years Eve screams 2 things to me: Glitter and Sequins. I don't think you can have to many of either. I wasn't sure I want this to be the first Makeup Monday post BUT I suppose it was the first tutorial look I took since I decided to have a makeup day so well, I'm going for it-plus-hello-GLITTER!
Products used:
Smashbox Photofinish Primer
Timebalm foundation in fairly light
Revlon colorstay lipliner in clear
Stila Bronzer
Urban Decay Urban Defense Tinted Moisturizer
Urban Decay blush in Quickie
ELF liner brush
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
Maybelline Falsies Flared Mascara
Tara Tarantino cream shadow in gold
NARS lipstick in Schiap (Blotted)
Urban Decay Baked Shadow
Urban Decay Glitteratti Palate in taupe gold and gold
I love NARS Shaip but 95% of the time it's just to harsh of a color...I tend to end up blotting it so as not to blind anyone with my lips! Also, although I totally ran out of time, I quick curled some loose waves into my hair-it sorta worked but considering I got ready in under an hour-including a shower-I'm not going to complain to much!
I wore a dress my mom got a me a few years ago, it's Lauren Conrad for Kohls, and is basically just a million sequins. Love.
I got this blazer at Macy's a few years ago
and my tights are Betsey Johnson
We had friends over for games and drinks
Des Looked super awesome:
Then we went out to Osaka, a Hibatchi grill, where I had an excessive amount of fun in the best sort of way!
I mean hello, onion volcanoes and Squeezie bottle saki shots?!
Luckily I (for the most part) was better at catching saki than rice and veggies.
Dinner was beyond delicious
And we had so much fun (or at least I did and I'm forcing my opinion upon others?!)
Des always looks so classy in her belted coat!
However the really classiness came in the form of champagne in plastic beer cups at Grumpys.
Happy New Year!
I think this is my bring it 2012 face?!
I hope you enjoyed makeup monday which really was only half the post, so does it still count?! Oh well, it was New Years, special occasions=special posts.

looks like a fun evening - happy new year :)
